Family Photographer in Lubbock Texas

I value deep friendship - the kind built on late nights, belly laughs, shared chaos, and showing up for each other without question.
I’m a mom to four little ones, which means I live in a world of crumbs, noise, and constant surprises - and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I’m warm, sometimes a little bossy (in the loving way), and always ready with a joke. I used to think I'd be a doctor or maybe a missionary, but I've found that maybe my greatest (the greatest) calling in life is motherhood.

This Page is about me. Not my photos. Just me.

Hi, I'm Fawn

Portfolio

'm someone who believes the best moments in life are a little loud, a little messy, and filled with heart.

I

Say Hello

My mom was always the one behind the camera - at every birthday,
every church play, every messy backyard moment.
Now, years later, I’m so thankful for the hundreds of photos she took. But what I wish I had more of are the photos with her.
The quiet evidence that she was there too.
As moms, we give so much of ourselves.
We're the planners, the feelers, the glue.
And it’s so easy to end up on the sidelines of our own lives.
So here’s what I’ve learned: being in the picture matters. Not because everything has to be perfect, but because you were there.
You loved them, you made the ordinary feel like home.
That’s worth remembering.

My background story

grew up in a home where photos were cherished and memories were captured with care.

Call me biased, but I really do think I’ve got the best.
My husband, Andrew, is steady, patient, goofy and kind. Our four children keep us on our toes and fill our days with big feelings, quick wit, and so much joy. We’re also blessed to spend a lot of time with grandparents. I’m often reminded how lucky I am to be surrounded by people who love each other, show up without being asked, and make even the ordinary days feel full.

I’ve always loved to travel - It started with a love for adventure, and now, as a mom it’s the much-needed escape from my everyday responsibilities. (Soooo many dishes, so much laundry.)
While Lubbock is home and I work hard to find the charm in its wide open spaces, it’s no secret that it’s not the prettiest place in the world. It refreshes my soul to get away from the tumbleweeds and experience a little more of God’s creation.

Favorite place ever: Texas
If the people were Texans: Ireland

Is it weird to immediately follow my love for travel
with an admiration for home?
When I got married , I also made a pretty permanent commitment to a life of agriculture in west Texas.
It's a humbling experience to put a seed in the ground with nothing but a little faith. To work hard an entire year without the promise of fruition. When you put it that way, it kind of sounds insane!
Yet somehow the farmer exists. And here we are.
I wouldn't change a thing!

Y'all I love food so much. Good food.
Not the fancy, over-styled kind, but the kind that fills your kitchen with love. Give me enchiladas, warm and cheesy, red or green, chicken or beef. Give me all the enchiladas.
Or a perfectly seared filet and a giant baked potato.
I'm hungry just thinking about it.

Favorite Place to Eat: Home
In Lubbock: Evie Mae's BBQ

I read something once that said
if you value comfort over style
then make sure your stylish clothes are comfortable.

I am a stay-at-home mom, farm wife,  homeschool facilitator,
and busy photographer. If I could live in my pretty floral print pajamas, I 100% would. Nonetheless - I'd rather not see myself featured on the "people of walmart" so instead you'll find me in stretchy jeans, cotton tees, and anything ditsy floral if the occasion calls for more.

I try not to do things that I'm bad at, and believe me when I tell you: I started out really, really bad. Yet, somewhere along the way my food started to taste good, then (shockingly) real good, and now, I'm over here cooking farm to table like it's my passion.
I truly have so much fun cooking whether it's for one of our many parties, a cozy night with the fam, or harvest meals for our hardworking crew. I cook a lot and I love it!

My favorite food: Mexican with a side of Margarita!

Fawn has become our family photographer and friend. She has an eye for the perfect shot but more importantly she captures special family memories. She is creative, motivated, extremely patient, and great with children. She listens and makes your ideas come to life; the perfect light and airy moments in time. 10/10 recommend Fawn for all your photography needs!

We had the absolute best experience with Fawn! She was so patient with our wild kiddos, so helpful with posing, and she made us feel incredibly comfortable. Our photos are lovely and so is she!
